We consider ourselves wine lovers, so wine was a theme throughout the wedding. For table numbers we created wine labels and used the types of wine as table names.

Our wedding cake, made by The Cake Lady & Petite Pastries in West Allis, WI, was made with banana cake with white chocolate buttercream frosting, filled with chocolate mousse and carmel buttercream.

Our florist was A New Leaf Floral out of Brookfield, WI. The bridal party had bouquets made of pink roses and hydrangeas. My bouquet was made with pink spray and ivory vendella roses.

As we were overlooking Lake Michigan, the photographer from Crane's Picture Perfect in Lake Zurich, Illinois, really captured a dramatic angle of the two of us.

To Cathy Humphreys: I am sooo sorry for not responding sooner, I hope it's not too late! I haven't been on here in a couple months and didn't know people were still responding! We used real wine corks, and my step dad just cut a slit on the top for the placecards to slide into and then shaved off the bottoms so they laid flat. Hope that makes sense! So sorry again, I hope this helps you! Also, thanks to everyone for all the sweet comments, it really means a lot! :)

I love the wine cork place card holders! I am actually trying to do the same, but am having a hard time with it. Did you buy the corks already cut and leveled at the bottom? If so, where did you buy them?
