Our ceremony was held in the courtyard of the Magnolia Hotel in downtown Omaha. Not only is it beautiful, but it allows for an amazing entrance for the bride. The bridal suite is on the third floor of the hotel. Outside the suite is a balcony that overlooks the courtyard. So my walk down the "isle" was actually across the balcony and down a long staircase. My dad met me at the bottom of the stairs and walked me down the isle. This photo was taken as I walked out of the bridal suite to see Jeremy for the first time on our wedding day. And when it was time for the actual ceremony I loved looking down and seeing everyone I loved and my husband to be smiling up at me! It calmed my nerves and I made it down the stairs without falling!

Right before I was about to walk down the isle I looked out the window of the bridal suite and my dad gave me this "thumbs up!" It was such a sweet moment and I had no idea that our photographer caught it! I cried the first time I saw this picture. Its a moment between me and my father I'll never forget.

I loved the courtyard at the Magnolia where our ceremony was held. The weather was perfect, the sun was setting and we were surrounded by everyone we loved.

This was another great moment! Our good friends Kim & Anthony were the ones who introduced us. So when we got engaged we asked Anthoy to be our officiant. He got ordained on the internet and did an amazing job helping us get everything organized for the ceremony. This was right at the beginning of the ceremony and he said "Take a good long look at each other and really take in this moment...because its probably the last time you'll see each other for the rest of the night!" It was a great way to get everyone laughing...especially me as you can see! I also love this picture because you can see my sister (and Matron of Honor) next to me laughing! She was married a year before me and her photographer caught a similar moment at her wedding where we were all cracking up!

Our fabulous cake! We had the most amazing pastry chef design and make our cake. The top layer was chocolate cake with peanut butter buttercream! YUM!
