I wore an Alvina Valenta soft fluted, halter neckline gown with silk duchess satin and ivory lace. White calla lilies surrounded hydrangea to create the unique bouquet.

We exchanged vows at the same church where my grandmother and great aunts were married. Our friend Aaron, who was recently ordained a deacon, flew in from Mexico to say our vows.

Rain = good luck! It sprinkled intermittently between our ceremony and reception, so the photographer was able to capture some wonderful images under the umbrella.

Our entire wedding was the work of many hands. Both of our grandmothers take great pride in their bakery and happily agreed to make biscotti and kolaczki for our favor bags. My mother found the perfect shade of blue fabric and sewed the table runners.
