Ed and Alicia were together for five years before they were married. Great things are certainly worth the wait, as the day was better than they ever could have imagined.

Alicia and Ed were married in the formal gardens of Eolia Mansion at Harkness Park. Ed picnicked there as a child. When he showed it to Alicia, she fell in love. It's beautiful gardens, sweeping lawns, and views of Long Island Sound were perfect. The reception was held inside the mansion immediately following the ceremony. Guests enjoyed a New England style cocktail hour complete with clam chowder, shrimp cocktail, steamers, cod cakes, and lobster rolls.

Ed and his groomsmen were very stylish in their Calvin Klein tuxedos. A short walk to the beach and a bottle of champagne made for a nice retreat for the bridal party while guests enjoyed cocktail hour.

Just before the ceremony began a mist rolled in from the sea lending to some very dramatic photographs. The tree to the right is very symbolic. It was once two separate trees growing side by side. Over time, the branches met and the two have become one, growing together.
