Urban Bridal's- just one of Dustin's many talents. It was really fun posing in alleys and walking through downtown in my dress- and seeing all the people staring at me like I was crazy. (But my dress hardly got any dirt on it at all. It got much dirtier at the wedding and reception.)

Our photographer Dustin lives around the corner from this diner, so when we told him we were doing a retro 50's look, he took us here. It was the perfect setting for our more casual retro look.

Danny and I are not your traditional couple- so we wanted to reflect that in our engagement photos. We decided on a retro 50's look, so we scoured the second hand stores to find the perfect 50's clothing to dress up in. It was so much fun! And even after the wedding, people are still complimenting us on our creative photos. Of course we couldn't of done it without our awesome photographer, Dustin Izatt.

My beautiful cake! I am a baker, and I was going to make my own cake- alas, it was too much for me too handle. So I got a local bakery (Granite Bakery) to create the cake that I designed. The bottom and top layers are chocolate cake with bavarian cream and chocolate ganache poured over the top, and the middle is lemon cake with cream cheese frosting and fondant with brown paisley's.

Me and my bridesmaids. I had them choose whatever dress they wanted as long as it was either dark brown or the lighter latte color. I think they had fun picking out their own dresses- and they were actually comfortable!

The dessert table at the end of the night was almost empty- and someone left us a note! We had jars of brown and blue m&m's, hersheys kisses with wedding themed flags, eclairs, a tiramisu cake, and 3 different cheesecakes- lemon, caramel and chocolate decadence. They went so fast- no photos got taken! And none of the wedding party even saw them! (or got to taste the either)
