Brent proposed by launching my ring (yes the real one) in a model rocket - the parachute had "Will you marry me?" written inside. We incorporated this into our big day by launching a "Unity Rocket" after the ceremony.

We had our wedding at my parent's house (they have some acreage with beautiful views), so it made it very personal. And I was able to get the Rivini dress of my dreams! Hair by Mosaic Salon, makeup by Mac.

Our band, Smash Hit Carnival, was awesome - it wouldn't have been any better if Mick Jagger himself was there. The party kept going hours past we left for our happily ever after.

These favors were a labor of love. We attached the pencils to a bottle of Jones soda that we customized with our own labels - lots of tearing, washing, peeling, sticking... But they were a hit. We also had a sudoku puzzle on the back of the program that the guests could solve with their new pencils.

I had the prettiest group of bridesmaids and (and flowers by Art of Flower). The girls shined all night in their Stenay sparkly silver cocktail dresses. They were very happy that I had them wear such fun, non bridesmaidy dresses.
