Surrounded by the love of friends and family, I loved getting ready for our ceremony. My bridesmaids wore pink dupioni silk dresses from Ann Taylor Celebrations that were perfect for our June outdoor ceremony.

Our beautiful courtyard wedding was at Williams Memorial United Methodist Church. We had needlessly worried about the weather but the Texas sky cooperated with us that day and was a spectacular blue!

We searched for over a year to find a real vintage handkerchief for each of our attendants and family members, even the groom and father of the bride! They were all different and personalized for each loved one and came from all over the country and canada.

Our flowers were chosen to accent the pink bridesmaids dresses. Predominately roses with green button mum accents in the bouquets. Our florist, Brent Stewart, did an incredible job giving us the perfect pink touches to everything!

Our cake was fresh strawberry with cream cheese frosting and was even more delicious than we expected! It was gorgeous when they cut the slices and they were a lovely shade of pink! Thank you, Silver Spoon for your culinary creation!

We treated our guests to a Candy Bar with huge crystal vases filled with pink, red and white candies. The cherry sours, wedding conversation hearts, pink and red candy canes, red hot hearts and dark chocolate peanut M&M's were scooped into celophane bags. Stickers adorned the bags with the names of the bride and groom and the sentiment "Sweet Dreams".

My dress was beaded and hand embroidered chantilly lace and gave a vintage feel to the wedding. It is a Spring 2008 Casablanca design. Awesome, unique photo by Jordan Miller.
