Sarah D. Roosevelt Park - where we met to take pix with our bridal party. I love how evocative this photo is of the moment- with our bridal party in the background and the smiles on my face.

The room. Magical. Felt just like we were under the stars. I imagined what this would look like a million times, and never, in my wildest imagination did this ever come close to the dreams. It was larger than life and spectacular.

We planned a photo gallery highlighting wedding photos of all of our family - from the grandparents that couldn't be there to celebrate with us to John's sister with her groom to be.

From the cupcake tower I glue-gunned with ribbon and bride/groom cupcake picks that I handpainted to top each cupcake. We also featured my parents' cake topper from their wedding, 30 years ago.

A close of of our tables. We used beautiful silver-patterned wallpaper as table runners and really textured florals. I also wire beaded all the table numbers by hand and affixed them to candles with a pearl pin. Everything glowed and reflected just like we planned. It was quite the shimmer.

Our candy bar - we took our 6 favorite candies and screen printed bags with our name and wedding day details for a sweet and fun favor. The candy was a total hit!
