Verbena Designs did such an amazing job on my bouquet. It was beautiful. It included ivory Vandela roses and Lisianthus, light blue Delphinium, and an accent of brown Bear Grass loops, wrapped in ivory satin ribbon.

This is my favorite photo of us from our wedding. It captures a tender, sweet moment. My face shows how at peace and content I was and my husband's expression is one of reflection on the day and our future.

We were blessed with such beautiful weather, so we were able to marry on the OFC's back deck overlooking one of the inlets of the Sound. I dreamed of a location like the OFC, but growing up in NJ and now living in PA, I had no idea that I would end up marrying on LI. But many different circumstances pulled me there and I realize now that it is really where we were meant to marry. My father, who we lost in 2004, lived in Long Island for many years. It is now a place of many special memories for my sisters and I. I happened to come across this venue, and I didn't realize until I visited it in person that is just 2 miles down the road from Port Jeff, a town my father loved and took my sister and I for a lunch during that last year with him. We incorporated the memory of my father into our wedding in many different ways- Jimmy Buffett table names (he loved JB!), Ed Travers sang Buffett songs for our cocktail hour (it felt like a island getaway for an hour), one of our favors was butterfly shaped seed paper that was to be planted to symbolize our growing love and also in my father's memory. Butterflies are one way that I know my dad is still around me.

Our cake from Audreys was delicious- buttercream icing, yellow cake with chocolate mousse and strawberry fruit filling, and a fondant bow topper. This picture also shows the I DO letters that I made, as well as the beachy touches placed around the receptiona hall.

I love this picture, of an embrace. And it also shows the details of my dress, jewelry, and our wedding bands.

This is by far my favorite picture of the guys, walking down on the docks at Danfords. Our favorite little guy is in the front- my step son who was so proud to be a Jr. groomsman. The sky was so gorgeous that day and complemented our colors. For our beach themed, casual wedding the groomsmen wore dress shirts and nice khakis from Banana Republic.

This was a very meaningful and symbolic moment for myself, my husband, and my step-son. We did a sand ceremony all together and then presented him with a Family Medallion (it is a necklace with three merged circles) to symbolize the three of us becoming a family. Two circles represent the marriage union while the third symbolizes the importance of children within the family. We really wanted to find special ways in incorporate him into our ceremony since he is a very special part of our life! He has it now as a keepsake.
