Our wedding programs. Carrying the theme from our wedding invitations, we constructed the programs ourselves and mounted them onto bamboo fans, finished off with a bow in our wedding colors, so our guests had something beautiful and functional to cool themselves with!

My five girls carried simple bouquets of vibrant green cymbidium orchids, and wore raspberry, chiffon dresses from Dessy that criss-crossed in back and fell just below the knee. My bouquet was a simple assortment of white and pale pink butterfly orchids. Our five boys wore cream linen shirts with chocolate brown tribal embroidery across the shoulders from Lucky Brand adorned with a fuchsia orchid boutonniere, and khaki pants from Calvin Klein rolled at the bottom.

The reception was held in an open air, beach-side deck with beautiful teak plank floors. Votives and Tiki torches filled the area, creating a dream-like ambiance. In true Italian tradition, my husband and I, along with our 95 guests kicked off the night dancing the Tarantella!
