Romantic Vintage Beach Wedding

This is one of my favorite shots. The colors are SO vibrant. We carried all shades of pink & ivory peonies, cottage roses, & mini sweetheart roses. Our bouquets were wrapped in the same material and color that the bridesmaids wore and were pinned together with pearls.

My dress was an antique white, Paloma Blanca gown with vintage patches of lace & pearl. My veil was trimmed in lace to match the one my mother wore on her wedding day. I also wore a gardenia in my hair that smelled lovely the entire night!

In a vintage, romantic, beach setting, with only 100 guests, with tied the knot under a bamboo draped canopy wrapped with curly willow. Peonies & cottage roses tagged every other row and were scattered along a brown burlap isle runner. It was perfect!

This is our HUGE & crazy wedding party. We had 6 bridesmaids & 6 groomsmen, 2 junior bridesmaids, 1 junior groomsman, 1 ring-bearer, & 4 flower girls. The guys wore Chocolate Brown Tux's with pink sweetheart roses as their boutonnieres. The bridesmaids wore a French almond colored dress by Jim Hjelm. Each dress was a different style but were all cut to street length. The flower girls wore Ivory knee length dresses. Each had a soft pink rose detail on the front and a huge bow in the back. They carried old-fashioned sand pales with vintage lace and ivory bows. They were oh so cute. Every girl wore pearls… to be vintage, of course!

Our Ivory, 4-tiered, cake was oh so yummy! The flavors included: Old-fashion Butter cream, Almond, & Chocolate La Cream. We went with the traditional butter cream icing, simply because it tastes better. Roses were tucked between each layer & lined with dotted icing.

This is just one of the three parts of the reception... After we ate everyone moved to the tent for dancing! All of the tables (including the seating indoors) alternated between chocolate brown & pink champagne linens. Each also alternated between three different centerpieces (tall vases with flowers, medium clusters of flowers, & candle arrangements). Outlining the tent we had bar tables that we tied with pink champagne material.

As the guests held sparklers, we left for Mexico under the moonlight. What a night!
