Screenshot 1: Thank you for visiting our wedding webpage =). Our original idea of putting it together was to give all of our friends and family an opportunity to get to know us a little better as well as to share our wedding pictures and videos with everyone after the date had past. What we didn't realize was the HUGE amount of time it saved us during the wedding planning period. We didn't have to give details over the phone and email in response to "Where is this?" and "When is that?" questions. Instead, we redirected everyone to our webpage. Our idea of save-the-date magnets worked out well in the end because everyone could get the URL right off their fridge! Thank goodness for the web! So here is our Welcome Page where guests can read a little bit about how to navigate the site. In this welcome letter guests can directly link to pages that give them detailed information regarding hotel accomodations, directions, and things to do while they're visiting. Not to mention, RSVP online for our weddings!

Screenshot 2: No one really wanted to hear us tell the fairytale version of how we met. So instead, we each wrote our own rendition of how it all went down on this page, titled "Our Story". My husband was SHOCKED when he read what I had to say. Luckily, we're still married =).

Screenshot 3: We had a few of our favorite pictures in a jig-saw mix. This was just a little fun for our guests to rearrange puzzle pieces to get the whole picture. When I had my turn at it, it was harder than I thought! On a similar page, guests also got their chance to take a poll on such things as who they thought was "the boss", the "food junkie", and the "shopaholic". Results were given at the end and guests could see how the votes had tallied up thus far. We were impressed with all the participation and excited to learn that our guests had lots of fun with these features. There were many surprising outcomes and my husband and I still get a fun laugh out of it today! We hope you enjoy visiting our site!

Yes, indeed! Glad I live in a city that also has great food =P Since DH moved to New Orleans, I think he's gained at least 20 lbs. off that cajun/creole food! Just yesterday, he was complaining how his gut was sticking out and how he had no shirt to wear because nothing fits him anymore. I completely agree with Yvette!! I'd not only flip through that magazine, I'd buy it! I still think it was poor judgement of the site to not put your pics in the finals (I'm not at all bitter haha!)- they owe you a spread in the magazine :) If it was up to me, you'd be the winner!
