These clips were chosen to show more than just the actual wedding. In the first clip you hear Whoopi Goldberg discussing the wedding on her radio show with her producer, a wedding guest. The footage shown are from the week-long events. From there it shows the rehearsal dinner with speeches over it and a quick interview with the decor designer, explaining the rehearsal scheme and what was to come. The rehearsal dinner was an all white party. Guests were asked to wear white also. The food was an Italian family-style feast served at one long table decorated in crystals and candelabras.
